DaLoot, DaLoot, DaLoot is on fire! We don’t need no water…..

DaLoot is on the board. The last team without a win has pulled one out! Also, the last team without a loss (36DD) took one on the chin vs. David Copperfield (thanks to LeBron’s 52). There are a few interesting notes as we look at the current standings here. First, every team in the league is either 2-1 or 1-2. We are starting to see some separation in points with David Copperfield the high point team at 626.5 and Fore the low point team with 538.5. More impressive, the Rokers are tied for first after three weeks of the season. That might the first time in the history of fantasy basketball that the Rokers have still been in the hunt after three weeks.

DaLoot played the Average this week and the Average had their best week of the season (surprise vs. DaLoot) with 198.8. Scores were up and there were a couple very big weeks for individuals. Congratulations to the Rokers who walked away with the high total for the week (219.0).

When Fore! submitted their lineup, the opening sentence read, “Well I have Parker out 4 weeks and Durant is a gametime decision tonight, so I can’t afford another no-show by a starter.” In the starting lineup was Deron Williams, who had played 33 minutes on Wednesday evening. What happened Friday night? He was a late scratch and didn’t play (that is the same number of fantasy points as a dead man). Fore! lost by 25 fantasy points. Out of the lineup completely (not starting or on the bench) was the typical starter Kevin Durant. Worth mentioning, Kevin Durant had 23-2-2-1-1 = 29 fantasy points Friday night. If KD starts instead of Deron Williams, Fore! wins. That is really a kick in the teeth.

The Utah Jazz did everything they could do hurt fantasy squads this week by having three guys in fantasy lineups not play (Deron Williams, Mehmet Okur and Andrei Kirilenko).

Joe Johnson – 48
