Week #15 Recap – Two Games Up, Five to Play

18 Feb 2009 | : Recap

If we were getting ready to do the seeding for the NCAA tournament teams like Fore!, DaLoot, and The Fur would get moved higher than their records show whilst teams like Captain Mo, David Copperfield and 36DD would get that #5 seed (vs. a #12 never a good thing).

Fore! got high score of the week (251.0) for the second straight week.  Congratulations.

Hopefully the teams took the All-Star Break off to rest their legs and to clear their minds.  With five weeks left on the regular season schedule Dirty Sanchez has a lead of two games in the loss column over 36DD, David Copperfield and Captain Mo who are all technically in THIRD place because, believe it or not, the AVERAGE is in second place.  Check out the standings.  I’m pretty sure we have never had the Average in second place through 15 weeks of the season before.

HUGE week from Al Jefferson.  68 fantasy points.  Unfortunately for Fore! and the Minnesota Timberwolves, this was his last fantasy game of the season after suffering a torn ACL.

The kick in the shorts of the week goes to David Copperfield who had an unannounced DNP by Caron Butler and then lost by 10.

Week #14 Recap – No Wins from the Top Four

18 Feb 2009 | : Recap

What a week.  Not one of the four teams with the best record won in Week #14.  Dirty Sanchez escaped with a tie (vs. DaLoot).  That’s right, it took 14 weeks to record our first time of the season.  I am not sure which is more amazing, the tie or The Fur winning (vs. Rokers).  Looking at the standings, Dirty Sanchez stands alone with only four losses.  36DD, David Copperfield, Captain Mo and THE AVERAGE all have five losses.  Strange year.

The kick in the teeth of the week goes to Royz Boyz, who has more points than Captain Mo, but has four more losses.

Fore! had four starters in the STUDS list.  Impressive.
