There were only two teams above 200 this week and the Average still almost broke 200 (193.6).  That is very difficult to do.  How does it happen?  Simple.  One team scores 270 points.  Let’s read that again, one team scores 270 points.  Wow.  36DD simply had a week to remember.  His lowest scorer tallied 27 fantasy points.  In contrast, Fore!’s highest scorer rang up 30 fantasy points (on the bench so it totaled 15).  36DD had 222.0 points from their starters.  It helps to have two guys score > 50. 

 

I do not have any official numbers, but this has to be an all-time high score.  What might be the most amazing part about 36DD’s week is that he was missing his third, fifth and eighth round picks.  Truly amazing.  Royz Boyz, if you are going to lose, you may as well lose big (by almost 100 points). Congratuations 36DD, 270 is an impressive total. 

 

The game of the week was between the Rokers and David Copperfield.  David Copperfield spit his way to a win, with Zach Randolph getting traded and not playing this weekend, 184.5 – 178.0.  The Rokers can blame this loss on Hot Carl-os Boozer who didn’t play on the Rokers bench.  Brad Miller tried to fill in the starting lineup, but only scored 22 fantasy points.  If Boozer plays and gets 13 (he averages > 36), the Rokers win.  Tough loss.

 

The Fur also had some tough luck with Josh Howard playing dead with a “0.”  The Fur lost by 26.1.  He averages 31.55 fantasy points per game. 

 

There are a few certainties in life and one of them is that He”don’t” Turkoglu cannot play on Friday nights.  He scored 35 fantasy points in Week #1.  The following fantasy weeks he scored 18, 20 and 10 fantasy points respectively.  That means he is averaging 20.75 fantasy points on Friday night.  In games that DON’T count, he is averaging 29.5 and has not scored less than 24.
